About Owner/Chef
The Kitchen at Bombay Grill is in the skilled hands of owner/chef Rajan
Arora whose expertise with the complexities of traditional Indian fare
is widely known. He is also very adept at cooking Seafood.
Noticing that very few Seattle area Indian restaurants offer varieties beyond
prawns and the ubiquitous curried mussels, he decided to focus on a part
of the Indian cuisine not regularly showcased. His love of seafood runs
deep. Growing up by sea in his native land, he learned how to catch,
cook, and enjoy fish by watching his family prepare the local delicacies.
His bio includes opening the first Mexican restaurant in India,
creating a successful gourmet dessert and natural ice-cream parlour in
New Delhi and was featured in a regular cooking segment on STAR TV's
Good Morning India.
